The A-Hole of the week award goes to Jason Harkins for slipping Carl and I a shot of 151 last night. That damn shot almost made me puke right there. Fortunately, I was able to keep it down, but it certainly spelled the downfall of all three of us (even though I managed to sober up by night’s end).
Last night I got a chance to hang out with my old co-workers over at E!. I had forgotten how much fun I had working over there. Sony is great place to work, but the atmosphere is definitely different. For some reason, the people at E! just know how to party. Afterwards, a couple of us headed over to the Father’s Office and had one or two (or several) beers. I did find out that, apparently, the volume of my voice increases with every beer I have. Thank you to everyone who has never told me that. Are you picking up the sarcasm?
I was one of the idiots who saw Matrix Revolutions at 6AM and I’m not sure it was worth it. The movie was pretty good; definitely better than the second one. The battle for Zion was really cool but I was disappointed with the ending. I don’t want to ruin it for anyone so I won’t go into specifics, but I miss the good ‘ol fights that was in the first Matrix. Their feet stayed on the ground (mostly) and it was one-on-one. Now, it’s a million vs. one or everyone flying around. I guess the Wachowski brothers felt they had to top themselves, but they ended up taking out the stuff that people loved. At least I only payed a matinee price…
