A New Year…
Well, I finally got some pictures of my trip to Mammoth up on the site, thanks to Jessica. My camera didn’t see much action, but Jessica’s did. I still have some pics from camera that I need to put up. I’m not sure there’s any exciting ones on mine, so we’ll just have to see. You’d think from these pictures that we never left Bishop, but I promise you that we did.
The skiing was pretty good. The first day was pretty rough on my body. My legs are little too out of shape to be doing a lot of mogul runs, but I still felt pretty good. I was using new skiis, bindings, and boots so that didn’t help matters. The second day we were all a little too hung over to go skiing so we decided to play drinking games for six hours…not very smart. On the third and final day, it was a near blizzard up on the slopes. I decided not to ski for the 2 hours that was left of the day, but Jason, Carl, Jessica, and Teresa went up and braved the elements. The each had a brush with death but managed to come up none-worse-the-wear. So, all-in-all a successful trip. Now, I have to get ready for Whistler later this year. I’m too excited.
I guess I should also say something about the new year. For at least the second year in a row, got a little down during the holidays. I’m not sure why, it’s nothng specific that does it, but it’s definitely there. So, to those who had to tolerate my moodiness, I’m sorry. However, As soon as January 1st hits, I’m a new man. I’m excited to start a new year now. There’s a lot I’d like to do this year and hopefully I can accomplish half of them. =) I’ll keep the list to myself, but as soon as I accomplish one of them I’ll let you know.
