The baby face is back…
Wednesday, June 23rd, 2004That’s right, today I shaved the beard in preparation for my trip back to Philadelphia. I know how disappointed you ladies are out there but I had to look respectable for my friend’s wedding. Don’t worry…I’ll grow it back soon! =)
Weekend in San Diego
Tuesday, June 22nd, 2004I went down to San Diego last weekend to go see the Padres game (they actually won!). Serban came down with for his first trip back in five years. We met up with a some old college friends for a couple margaritas at Case de Bandini in Old Town, went to the game at Petco Park, and then had a couple drinks at The Field in Gaslamp. For you guys in Gamma Rho, we actually saw Brad Collins that night! After The Field, Serban and I took a nostalgic trip to Roberto’s for a late night carne asada burrito (so good). Good times were had and it was really good to see some of the old guys from college. Pics can be seen the Pictures section.
Scratched off one of my life’s to-do list
Tuesday, April 20th, 2004Yesterday, thanks to my buddy Mark Elia, I got to spend some quality time with Lord Stanley’s Cup. That’s right…you heard me…I got to touch the Stanley Cup! Don’t believe me…here’s the proof!
Made it to NYC
Saturday, March 13th, 2004Well, I made it to New York even though I tried to miss my plane. The fact that I missed my plane is all thanks to my co-workers. They wanted to take me out for my birthday since I was going to be in town and I’m not one to turn down someone buying me drinks. The only problem was that my plane left at 8am, meaning I had to be up at 5:30. Well, my co-workers were a little too nice to me. As you can see from the pictures there were several pitchers of beer and some car bombs involved and it turned into a long night. Fortunately, I made it home in time to get a couple hours of sleep and managed (by the grace of God) to wake up in time.
The flight was fine. I, understandably, slept most of the flight. I am now at my friend Ben’s in the Upper West side of Manhattan. The weather is good. A little chilly but nothing I can’t handle. We’re getting ready to head out and have some fun, but I thought I’d put a quick entry up and the pics from last night. Time to meet the Big Apple.
